What Is Static Line Training?

Static-Line skydiving training is an alternative method of getting qualified to the Accelerated Freefall course and only aviable for now in Croatia. One full day of ground-training is all that is required to carry out your first solo parachute jump from 4,000ft.

Your parachute opens automatically by a ‘static-line’ which is attached to the aircraft (so there is no freefall involved initially). You can then fly and land the canopy yourself.

As you progress through the parachute training system you can start freefall skydiving from your sixth jump, gradually jumping from higher altitudes.

All your skydives are on your own, i.e. solo. However you will be supervised by a Croatian/USPA rated Skydiving Instructor on exit and on later an instructor will follow you out of the aircraft to observe your exercises.

We offer 3 packages:

Static Line Parachute First Jump course : includes one full day of training and the first parachute descent.

Five Jump Parachute Course : includes one full day of training and 5 static line parachute jumps after which you should be cleared for freefall jumps.

Twelve Jump Parachute Course : includes one full day of training, 5 static line parachute jumps after which you should be cleared for freefall jumps, and do additional 7 solo jumps where you will initiate your parachute opening.

Static Line Parachuting is also an ideal activity for groups and we can offer corporate packages for team building exercises as well as groups activities and organizations looking to enable young people to expand their horizons

What does Static Line skydiving course involve?

Before you can jump you need to take part in an intensive day of ground-training with one of our Croatian/USPA rated Skydiving qualified instructors. Courses are taught in groups of up to 6 people and are ideal for groups of friends, corporate, team building or charity events as well as individuals.

Static-Line first jump courses

The initial full day of ground-training takes place on selected mid-week dates. The ground training can be both mentally and physically tiring and it’s best to start fresh in the morning. Initially we ask students to commit to the 7-days. The parachute jump itself will take place on the following morning weather permitting, or you have one month within which to return and complete the jump.

If you do not live locally, then we strongly recommend staying onsite or nearby rather than driving a long distance before your course starts. We can assist you with accomodation.

Private groups of 5-6 can arrange a mutually convenient date with us. Please contact us for special packages including multiple jumps or overnight accommodation.
